Setting Up ACH for Property and Owners
First is to set up the Property’s banking account information in Lodgical.
Condo–>Utilities–>General Configuration
Fill in information from Bank. Ask your Bank for this information.
Owner ACH Setup
Condo–>Utilities–>Owner Configuration
Click on the Owner Line
Click on the Owner Entry
Add ACH information. Make sure to check off they are using ACH.
Create ACH File
Condo–>Checks–>Create ACH File
Choose parameters of the report period and units this includes. NOTE: the Create Owner Balance only affects owners who have ACH checked off. Owners who are still using Checks must be closed out in the Print Checks option for Negative Proceeds to flow over.
Click Generate ACH Data.
Preview the balances clicking “Yes”
This will take a while to generate. Be patient.
This window will have the balances owed to each owner in it. Click Create ACH File
This will generate a Text document onto your desktop.
Close out of window
The Text document created will look like a lot of nonsense when you open it. It is an embedded file–if anything is changed on this document, it will not be accepted by your bank.
This document is given to your Bank. Ask the Bank how they would like to receive it—sometimes they have a portal you can securely upload to.
